Last day of 2008

Yay
Vista
Posted On Monday, December 29, 2008 at at 10:58 AM by RobertIt appears that the Vista that the family got for Christmas is going to be my replacement for the XP. Our old, but working 98 will be moved somewhere, and the 98 will be replaced by the XP. Of course this means transferring files and data and programs and browser settings and all of that fun stuff from the XP to the Vista. No problem. I use FoxMarks on FireFox, so no worries with my bookmarks. The other ad-ons will be challenging, plus re-theming up my browser to look like IE 7 (hate the browser, love the theme). Then there's the programs and games that were installed on the XP. My dad should be able to take care of that. Of course, there will always be something wrong, so I'm hoping it's simply going to be some corrupt file or something.
Yay

Eagle almost done
Posted On Saturday, November 22, 2008 at at 9:55 AM by RobertI have almost finished the presentation of my eagle scout! Yay...
Ready for the weekend... no wait, I mean my eagle!
Posted On Thursday, November 20, 2008 at at 10:07 AM by RobertSo after trial and error and an attempt to finish my Eagle, one year later I am now 99.99999999999999999 and 9999999999/100000000000 % finished with my Eagle. All that's left now is to complete my presentation, work on these 'references' and fill out my Eagle scout application.
Once my eagle is complete, I plan on working on several things:
- Getting my website up again.
- Working on two games, 'Bible Arcade©' and 'Maze Quest©'.
- Working on someone's website that I promised I'd make long time ago.
- Working on some parodies.
Nothing to say... :(

Sighs
Posted On Friday, November 7, 2008 at at 8:20 AM by RobertSo I'm half of a hair width away from getting my Eagle, I'm working on a new game concept, and I'm busy in seminary...
Late
Posted On Thursday, November 6, 2008 at at 6:26 PM by RobertBeen late for a few days... oops.
Well, besides the fact that the worst possible person has been elected president, I had to see the dentist, my Eagle is one hair width away, and that my game is in a very interesting spot right now, I have the most boring life ever.
Election day!
Posted On Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at at 8:04 AM by RobertIf I could vote, I sure would vote for McCain, I don't want to have America become a disaster.
Finally back to normal
Posted On Sunday, November 2, 2008 at at 2:39 PM by RobertSick wise.
Feeling better, but not best
Posted On Friday, October 31, 2008 at at 10:21 AM by RobertI am finally almost away from my horrible used-to-be-fever-but-then-changed-to-cold cold. Finally...
Fever
Posted On Thursday, October 30, 2008 at at 9:39 AM by RobertI have an exciting life. You'll either find me at the computer or at some 'popular' activity. The fever better leave by Friday.
Fever almost gone!
Posted On Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at at 8:14 PM by RobertFinally, just in time for... tomorrow.
What a way to start Wednesday
Posted On at at 10:56 AM by RobertGot a cold and fever, what a fun thing to go through.
Well
Posted On Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at at 9:27 AM by RobertBesides the horrible election, and a lack of time to work on Webmaster's Resource, and an eagle project report, and Halloween, my life is absolutely boring.
Busy day
Posted On Saturday, October 25, 2008 at at 8:26 PM by RobertWhat a busy day. I was able to succeed in changing the URLs to several sites, I finished a good amount of pages on my website to be updated to v3, I have almost gotten my url to the official blog to be changed, and I have also experimented with a photogallery system and I really like it.
I cannot wait till I work on the online pc game and start earning money, enough money to get a Windows 7 laptop, hopefully. :)
Getting ready for v3
Posted On at at 9:10 AM by RobertSigh... Hopefully version 4 will be easier to update. Version 3 is pretty much 'ready' as in I can change all of the websites (hosted under my domain) urls to a different setup. I plan on having 'username.robertcity.com/forum, blog, web, ect.'. I am giving the support forum a new setup as well, so instead of SMF 1.1.6, it will be run under phpBB3.0. I sure hope that it works fine.
Plus my blog situation is so horrible. I have two blogs, one of which (this one) is actually 'replacing' the old one, located at http://myblog.robertcity.com. It has been around since April 2008 of this year. I have a livejournal account (I believe it's called that) which has been around since last year fall. So this may replace the old wp online blog/journal.
Plus I have a new situation here, I am planning on offering wordpress blogs, yet blogger is better than wordpress, so it's a so-so situation where I must decide today pretty much if I want to use blogger or wordpress for the overal service.
Plus version 3 is also getting a registeration system, which should soon become a memberlist system, and I plan on trying to code a message forum around spring of 2009. Who knows.
The things the boss/owner of a business does. :P
All of this work for a sub-domain?
Posted On Friday, October 24, 2008 at at 8:41 PM by RobertWow, so apparently I'm going to have quite a bit of fun trying to setup a sub-domain for my RobertCity.com blog. Apparently, you have to not only make the sub-domain, but get a CNAME record for the sub-domain to reach blogger. I've googled around, and sure enough, others have tried to find out how to do it but the only way is to use the host's helpdesk. Sigh, that means live chat.
I'm guessing that they are used to the request though.
I cannot wait till my blog is fixed. Thanks to me loading up three very huge web urls at the same time, now I'm in this mess.
Grrrr
Posted On at at 10:14 AM by RobertWhat a wonderful title for my first blog post.
Well, after a wonderful adventure with WordPress, I have been convinced that Blogger, BlogSpot, ect, is a better choice than WP. Already I like the fact that spell check exists using FireFox when making a post, unlike WP.
Might as well 'introduce' myself. *rolls eyes*
I'm 15 1/2, I am a webmaster and game maker, I know the programs (in order) HTML, CSS, XHTML, small bit of JavaScript, PHP, MySql, and I know a small bit of Perl, Ajax, and Basic.
